« I think the main reason we want to participate to the program is to improve our skills, and the J1 program is the ideal experience for that. In one year of experience, we can learn a lot. It's not only about improving the skills we already have, it's about learning new skills, getting new perspectives of leadership and how properties in the US work. And in all of that, it helps us to discover what we're truly capable of, like leading a whole team of a huge property. »

« I really improved my English skills because I have to talk in English everyday with guests and team members. The resort is really busy especially during the weekends. Sometimes guests have really difficult requests and issues that sometimes we cannot solve and it can be a challenge because obviously the guests are going to be upset about that but it’s part of the experience. And the best part is that when I am able to overcome this kind of situation I will be proud of myself and it’s always a pleasure to see the guests happy »

« The internship is really interesting in a way that I am learning so much about the hospitality field, how it is working, how a small team can keep such a big hotel so active. Many challenges but the team spirit and support is very strong. My team workers are amazing and helpful and the work environment is healthy. My coworkers are always willing to help me which is just pushing me to do my best and to grow. »
